Where Are We?
First Sunday Evening Service

Imagine Safe Homes

Everyone has the right to be safe in their own homes. However Domestic Violence affects one in four women nationally and impacts the lives of countless children.

It is a major issue for many of the inner-London boroughs, but here in Tulse Hill, we pray “Your Kingdom Come” and we actively help people to live in safety.

Women and children in these situations need help of all kinds. The Gaia Centre in Lambeth provides legal and housing advice, but often immediate help is also needed with food, clothing (especially baby clothes), money, furniture and general support such as just chatting to someone outside the situation. If you need to get in touch with Gaia, please phone 020 7733 8724.

Imagine Family works with the Gaia Centre in these areas, and we try to help those with whom we are in contact to feel supported in their “place of safety”. We also help people find support through other agencies such as Acts 435.

A quote from one of the women indicates the great need.

“the words ‘thank you’ don’t seem enough to express how grateful we are for all your help.  I wonder if the people who donate to these charities understand what a difference their generosity makes to a child’s life.”

If you would like support through Imagine Family email Aileen

We also work in local schools advising staff on how to direct parents in need of this service to the appropriate agency.
